Lead Like a Coach - Leadership Development
Unlock greatness in everyone.
Learn how to lead like a coach by applying the tools of professional coaching.
Lead like a Coach is a cohort-based course. You’ll learn alongside incredible leaders who share your passion: to help people succeed.
Unlike other leadership development courses, you won't learn passively in a classroom – across 6-weeks you'll complete weekly coaching challenges. These practical exercises help you quickly improve your ability to coach. Helping you more confidently lead like a coach.
Is Lead like a Coach right for you?
Are any of these familiar?
😨 You are uncertain how to lead 1-1 conversations
😨 You are confused about when to tell vs when to ask
😨 You are anxious about how to work with difficult people
😨 You are fearful of having tough feedback conversations
😨 You are frustrated at the lack of change in your workplace
If you're reading this, chances are one (or more) of these are keeping you up at night (and keeping you from performing at your best)
And chances are, you know you should be coaching - which is why you're on this page in the first place.
Whether it's to improve your thinking, accelerate your career trajectory, or help you have that conversation you’ve been avoiding, coaching is something that's been on your list for a while.
If any of these sound familiar... Then Lead like a Coach was built for you.
The practical guide to coaching you've been missing.
Maybe you've tried coaching before. But, time and time again, you fall off. Something comes up. What starts off exciting becomes too difficult. And before you know it, you're back to square one. But this is because there was no accountability.
You tried to start coaching on your own, almost doomed from the beginning. But Lead like a Coach solves that problem. You coach alongside other leaders all with the same goal as you: to unlock the greatness in everyone.
This creates accountability, unlike anything you've ever experienced.
Demolish your bad leadership habits.
Coaching doesn’t come naturally. When you are under pressure, the default is often to command. To just tell people straight. Whilst that can be useful, many situations call for a different approach. A more coach-like style of leadership.
Lead like a Coach is fundamentally about changing leadership habits.
Helping you to:
✅ Ask more, tell less
✅ Listen more, assume less
✅ Invite more, shut down less
✅ Pause more, speak less
✅ Reflect more, rush less
You can’t think your way to change. You must act. That is why Lead like a Coach is all about daily actions that add up.
How it works
Put your learnings into practice by coaching every day for 6-weeks.
Other coaching courses charge you thousands of dollars, only to wave their hands in the air with "theory."
And by the end, you leave with a bunch of notes that sit in a folder for eternity. Meanwhile, you're still confused and unsure about the next step to take. But Lead like a Coach is about moving quickly, taking action, and keeping a tight feedback loop.
You will complete a bite-sized coaching challenge, every day for 4-weeks. You'll quickly start to improve your ability to coach. Most importantly, you’ll do this in your day-to-day work, meaning you get value from day one.
And by coaching every day, you'll demolish your perfectionism, impostor syndrome, and fear of having conversations.
What you will get?
Upon joining, you'll unlock a 4-week curriculum packed with frameworks that guarantee you become a coach-like leader.

How is a coaching sprint structured?
You’ll complete challenges across four coaching sprints, each one week in length. By the end of the course, you’ll have built a coaching habit.
Every Monday Sprint Planning (15mins) on Slack
You are guided through an activity to choose challenges for the week and explore what you need to be successful.
Whilst this session isn't "Live". I'll be hanging out all day to answer questions and provide coaching. You'll also get a chance to connect with other cohort members.
Every Wednesday Masterclass (55mins)
Now this one is live.
A short deep dive into a specific coaching topic. There are 6 masterclass topics across the course. This will be a little extra theory but not too much. Masterclass sessions are recorded if you can’t make it.

Who is your coach?
Hello 👋
I'm Toby Sinclair, the creator, and coach of this course.
I'm a Business Executive based in London. I've worked in Product and Tech organisations in various roles for the past 15yrs. I have a unique blend of skills and experience that I've used to build this program. I spent 7 years working as a software developer and over the past 7 years, I've been focused on the psychology of organisational performance.
I've been coaching professionally across many organisations. I've coached CEO's, product teams and everyone in between.
I'm a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation. Sadly many coaches are not professionally trained. To get this credential means I've completed 125hrs of training and delivered over 500hrs coaching conversations.
I believe that your role as a leader is to create an environment that unlocks the potential in people. You can do this best by mastering high-impact coaching skills.
If you'd like to know more, here is my story.

FAQ
Can I really pay nothing?
Other coaching courses charge upwards of $7,000 to help you start coaching
I’m experimenting with a new pricing format. Pay what you need, to stay accountable.
For some, paying nothing means low commitment. For others, paying a higher amount keeps them accountable.
You decide what amount you need to pay, to stay accountable across the 6-weeks.
What is the time commitment?
In total, you’ll need to commit 2hrs to the live sessions. In addition, you’ll need to budget about 2hrs to complete your coaching challenges. But you can do more!
In total, you’ll need to commit 4hrs every week. But remember, the coaching challenges are integrated into your daily work. So that’s not really time away from the desk.
What if I can't attend the live sessions?
If you fall behind, don’t worry. Sessions are recorded to help you catch up. Worse case, you can always pause and jump into the next month's cohort.
What do you mean by “leader”? I don’t manage anyone so is this for me?
A manager is a specific role. Leadership is the particular skill of being able to guide and influence other people. Leadership is a quality rather than a job.
Therefore anyone can be a leader.
This could be in roles such as:
Product Owner, Manager, Tech Lead, Agile Coach, Scrum Master, HR Lead, Risk Manager, Financial Controller.
Couldn't I just do this myself with free content?
Well... you could. And I encourage you to try it! Because if it works for you, great!
But chances are, you've tried learning on your own before. And between the hours it would take you to aggregate all of the free stuff and the headaches you would have trying to learn every day on your own... The course is probably worth it.
